Feedback
Feedback in Workflow goes far beyond the basic comments available in creative software such as Figma, Photoshop, Webflow or Lovable.
A core idea behind workflow is the value of keeping all of you feedback in one place.
With Workflow, you’ll never lose feedback in emails and chat messages. Instead, you always know where to find all of your feedback and can be sure no requests have been missed.
This keeps your life simple and gives you more time for creative work.
Your new toolbox
On-asset comments
Reviewers can click anywhere on your work to leave a text comment.
Comments can be replied to in a comment thread, reacted to with emojis, have attachments, and marked as resolved when the change has been completed.
-
On live websites, comments will also capture the page url, reviewer’s screen size, browser, and a screenshot of what they saw.
-
On videos, comments are timestamped and appear on a timeline.
Voice & screen recording
Share ideas verbally - without a meeting.
Workflow’s screen recorder (similar to Loom) is built into the browser, so reviewers can share ideas without installing anything.
To start a recording, reviewers can click the “record” icon in the center of the top navigation bar.
Sidebar messages
Some messages don’t belong on your work - for example summarising your feelings overall, or asking to set up a meeting.
To prevent these messages getting separated from the work and lost in emails or chat messages, you can add chat messages.
To add a chat message, open the sidebar and click “add a message” in the bottom left.
Real-time discussions
Many design discussions need to happen in real-time over a video call using tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Workflow does not provide video-calling but works well in tandem with these tools.
On any asset except for websites, Workflow shows live “multiplayer” cursors to show where your mouse is, allowing you to point to specific areas of the work during your calls.
